LegisTrax enables users to follow the progress of all instruments filed in the Louisiana Legislature with capability for users to construct a customized tracking list by identifying specific instruments and of particular interest. The data is updated daily. Detail for instruments includes:
Chamber of origin, author(s), committee assignments, history of progress through legislative process, instrument digest, amendments, fiscal notes and iterations (versions) of the text.
Users can manipulate the app, allowing instrument search and sort by either Chamber of origin, author, or assigned number. In addition to information about all instruments introduced for consideration, LegisTrax also provides user access to lists of committees as well as updated events list that include daily committee agendas with the LegisTrax icon appearing beside those committees in which a tracked instrument is scheduled.
LegisTrax offers access to an alpha-order list of Legislators that can be sorted by Chamber and displays photo of the legislators along with links to external pertinent biographical/background information as well as a list of each legislator’s bills filed in the current session.
